You will be asked to answer questions about your occupation, professional training, and provide feedback on the P3-EX algorithm after using it with a case study that we will provide. The entire study will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. You will be compensated with a $10 Amazon gift card after completing this study. The following are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Please read the informed consent, which describes the study in detail. If you agree with the informed consent and decide to participate in the study, please click the blue bar at the bottom of the page to proceed to the next step which is the case study.
2. Please read the case study. You do not need to memorize anything in the case study. Of note, if needed, you can print out the case study and any pages of the P3-EX algorithm by right-clicking your mouse and selecting “print” in the dropdown menu.
3. Please click the “P3-EX” bar to launch the algorithm. A new window will open up in which you can use the P3-EX algorithm to complete the 12 steps to arrive at a personalized exercise prescription for Amy.
4. Please follow the instructions in the P3-EX algorithm to complete the 12 steps, which will take about 5 minutes. You will be asked to enter information from the case study at times. Of note, if you need to go back to the previous steps on the website about the P3-EX algorithm, you can do so by clicking the back button on the upper left corner of your web browser. If you go back to a previous step, you may need to re-enter some of the information you entered previously. If information is not showing properly, you can click on the refresh button on your web browser. It is important to note that if you exit the P3-EX algorithm before you have completed all 12 steps, the information you entered will not be saved.
5. Once you see the last page of the P3-EX algorithm titled, “Amy’s Frequency Intensity Time and Type or FITT Exercise Prescription”, you have completed the 12 steps of the P3-EX algorithm. Please close the window.
6. After you have completed the 12 steps of the P3-EX algorithm, click the Survey Bar. A new window will open up, in which you can fill out the evaluation survey of the acceptability and functionality of the P3-EX algorithm which will take about 10-15 minutes. If you exit the evaluation survey before you have completed all the questions, you will NOT be able to go back and resume the survey. In order to complete the survey, you will need to provide a response to every question or choose “I would rather not say”.
7. After you have completed the survey, you can exit all web pages of this study. You will receive an email to claim your 10$ Amazon gift card as a thank you for taking the time to complete this study.
8. If you have not completed the P3-EX Evaluation Survey Study in 7 days after you have received the invitation to participate, we will send you a reminder via email to complete it.
